Montipora confusa

I have wanted to grow this beautiful coral for a long time, and after seeing the fantastic colonies at yesterday's Seaworld Behind-the -Scenes tour I am even more intrigued by Monti confusa. Justin said it grows like a weed and should be easy to find, so I figured I would try here first. Does anybody have Montipora confusa? Would said individual be willing to break off a little frag to get me started?

Please reply here or PM me, I check both.

It is like 3 inches wide, two front to back and about an inch tall in places

Thanks so much....

Mitch

Wow Mitch, you need to come take pics for me. It looks like the polyps have a bit of pink in your pics.

The dead coral skeleton that it is growing over was a casualty of a large coral death epidemic last year. You will find that this guy will be pretty hardy for you.

I hope you enjoy it and keep me posted with its growth.

Absolutely, and thanks again...I am moving my tank VERY soon and will be placing it better then....I see about 6 inches below the surface and about 8" from the 250 to the water surface....
