More info on your pepperment

I saw you mention having peps inyour tank. I love the shrimp and intend to have them in my tank, but I constantly cross posts on RC where people have had them eat their corals. I have never seen this in my 20 gallon, have you had any problems?

How many do you have?

I haven't had any problems with the peppermint shrimp, I didn't know they could cause a problem.
They just seem to breed and create food for the tank.

What kind of problems have you heard they can cause?

Ive never had a problem either.

I have read posts that people have experimented the shrimp picking on polyps. From what I can see from the threads, only a small portion of people encounter this and it is always an argument of the polyps not being healthy and the shrimp just "thinned the heard"

I haven't seen any of that yet, but a polyp or two would be worth the food they produce when they spawn.
