Sorry to hear about that Lawrence. Yeah, stopped floating bags a long time ago. I find that the fish do just fine with just going straight to a slow drip acclimation. It's not like there's a huge temperature variation between your tank and the lfs tank.

I am glad your qt regimen is top notch now specially since you have a few fish on your tank that can buy a nice house in Texas . I probably can't sleep while I qt the heck out of them, if I have some of your super rare / holy grail fish like you have.

Btw your 3 masked and CB bandits are looking amazing every time you post a picture.

Most expensive? The $25 f****ing butterfly from Petco online, that brought disease into my tank that killed my 2 Joculator Angelfish

I had the same problem but mine was a $5 blue Damsel that killed off my tank full of butterfly fish and one beautiful large Emperor Angel. :hammer: I hate Damsels to this day. Don't know what the disease was but it killed all of my fish within 3 or 4 days. The only fish left alive was that little blue SOB :rolleye1: :hammer:

£900 (UK) for two tank bred Mcullochs clownfish. At the exchange rate then, it would have been around $1200 US dollars.

I'm sorry, but there's the argument for rarity. I googled that fish, looks a lot like a drab black ocellaris to me. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There's no accounting for taste, etc.

Thanks Lawrnece. Yeah, it's a dual edged sword. A lot more work and stress but at the same time, just as much enjoyment and happiness.
