Just ordered a mother of pearl from WT, INC. It looks impressive on the picture. I will pick up the frag today and will post a picture of it soon. Dan is very helpful also.

Original mother colony looks very similar to this picture.

Nick, WT has been around for a while. This is the first time that I have seen MOP in person and ordered it.

Also ended up getting a few more

WT has been around for a while but sorry to say they have also disappointed a lot of people for just as long. I learned my lesson with them....waited for 3 weeks for my shipment of corals because they needed time to cut the frags and let them heal. When ordered arrived...and it was not a small order....it was very clear that things were just cut within days of shipping and the corals looked horrible. Then one of the colonies I ordered was packed properly and the bag had no water in it when it arrived. The frags began to rtn later that day and were gone within 3 days. When I called them out on my suspicions they neither confirmed nor denied suspicion and all they had to say was if I ordered from them again they would try to throw some freebies in...not replace. When I asked them about the colony that arrived without water I was told it would be fine and that they had received wild colonies on numerous occasions without water and they had no problems. Needless to say, I lost 90% of the corals I got from them and would never order from them again. Not even to get the "freebies". I dont want to rain on your parade but I would ask for a picture of your exact frags before they are shipped and make sure that they are not fresh cuts and show some signs of encrusting.

Good luck and welcome to Reef Central.

I've ordered frags from them before in my last tank when they were under the name "Wet Thumb Frags". Although the frags were fine, they were ridiculously small for what you pay. When the largest frag you order is no larger than a half inch, as a hobbyist you feel ripped off considering they are generally more expensive than other online retailers. From a price to quality of product standpoint, they're just far too expensive.

I will not order from them again.
