Motorcycle Riding

Sportbike riders, Harley riders, Cruisers, even scooter riders....unite!

So I've seen a lot of people discuss topics on here not always related to the saltwater hobby, so I thought I'd add one of my own. Anyone out there into riding? If so, what's your favorite route/area/etc for a ride?

I just picked up a new cbr600rr back in June and am always looking for new roads to cruise on, or even new people to ride with. So if you're into riding, share your input!

If we find out a lot of people on here ride, maybe we can organize a group ride sometime while the weathers still nice. We have frag swaps, so why not get together for other reasons as well!

As always...Ride safe!

I have to stick to the dirt or else I'll end up dead or in jail. You will love the cbr. I had a 626 and a 954 many years ago. My favorite ride was doing the Baja 500 a few years ago.

Ah to be young again.....I've had 3 sport bikes and a cruiser, but alas, I'm an old fart. 4 wheels from here on out.

Just be aware of all the drivers out there who may not realize your riding near or next to them......When you ride your watching everyone else...

I've talked to Chris a little..but I have always been a dirt rider, for fun..(well until I got sick and gained all my weight..

I started with Dirtbikes when I was a kid all the up till about 04,my last bike was a 02 Yamaha 250F that I heavily modded for a hare scramble bike..Some of the best times of my life..Heres a pic of my old bike..I had as much fun working on that thing as riding it :)
I wrecked and rebuilt this bike more times than I can remember lol

When I started getting sick I went to ATV's my lust for the mud would not go away..I have a few ATV's through the years that I busted to pieces but my favorite was my 08 Yamaha Raptor 750R ..Out of all my sick bikes and quads..This one scared the crap out of me every time I rode..It was fast, heavy and a whole lot to handle..Here are a couple pics of my Raptor..

Have fun guys.

Lol,Todd, yeah me ,too.I realized in my older age though I dont quite heal like I used to.Bit more of a process.LOL.My last dirtbike was an RM 125 ,Trail wise I've beaten trash talkers with 250cc in the same class.
Miss it,big time.

I see people doing the Baja 1000 and 500 on quads and bikes..Those guys are insane..1000k times harder than doing it in one of those trophy trucks that have ruined the race imo..

Yeah going 95 mph gets a little scary. I've seen guys cartwheel right in front of me. It was a great experience. I would love to go back, but not until the drug war quiets down.

very cool pic..I went over a few times.. sucks lol..worst time I Came up about 10 feet short on a long double, being in the wrong gear on a 250f on a jump is very unforgiving ..smash lol thats why I have a MX-Tech front suspension on that bike, the OEM one was twisted like a pretzel, front wheel smashed my radiator ..My helmet was roached, that one hurt a little lol

haha the landing gets ya everytime.

haha yep..That sec or two in the air when you are nose down and know your short burns into the brain lol you know what coming..It'd those damn trees that jump out in front of you woods riding are ok wipeouts, you never see those until you wake up :)

all you old guys can always get one of those three-wheel canam's you see riding around. . .i don't think you'd be feeling any back pain after a ride on one of those!! But then again, they don't look all that "thrilling" to me. . .

Jealous of all the dirt bike riders, past and present. I've always wanted to try those out.

haha yeah that how you learn offroad riding..I had some awesome crashes in my time..But I ALWAYS had the max riding gear I could strap to my body on

even if it was 90 degrees with 100% humidity..I only really got hurt twice,That crash I mentioned above and on the atv once at a place called Majestic Trails in northern PA. goosed the clutch to much going up a very steep trail,I got bucked off the back and rolled all the down the hill..The next day I was so sore I could not get out of bed lol

I'm just glad the atv rolled off the side and hit a tree,or I would have been in deep trouble..Now I know why there are crosses on that trail for others not so lucky..
