okay...... The instructions on mounting the pump are way to vague and not that intuitive (at all)!!! after about 20-30 minutes of playing with the pieces i finally figured it out!!

overal census (so far): BUY THE MAGNETS FOR 10 BUCKS!!!!!

How does the mounting bracket work after you figured it out ? I've got my streams coming to me but i'm worried that maybe i should have ordered the magnet holders for them.

See my gallery, I have pictures of one installed on Oceanic. They aren't that bad and I think as long as they aren't suction cups people will complain. Suction cups won't work with this much force though.

It sits kinda funny on my tank. I have an all glass (oceanic). I used the stabalizer bar with the 2 longer stainless steel screws and it is just barely clamped to the plastic frame.

I was just excited about my 6100 streams and wanted them in my tank as fast as possible!!
It really isnt that difficult once you read the instructions over about 20 times and if the pictures were bigger and more detailed that would have been great.

(quick install guide)

Now that its all hooked up!! WOWWWW these things are sick!! my tank is really moving large amounts of water none of that jet stream crap any more :)

ahh... something is wrong then. hehe. Crap. I will take pictures tonight and post them.

the stainless steal screws that i had to use since my tank has a plastic frame get in the way so i only have .5" of area that the clap touches my tank...

this is what it looks like on the frame (comes of very easy no matter how tight it is).

this is what it looks like not mounted in the tank.

i also had to put a little cut in the hole to make the nut fit (get your mind out of the gutter!)

I would forgo that horizontal bar piece , that is only necessary with extreme angles and the suction cup should be enough stabilization. I find it unnessecary. That looks correct otherwise. I would tighten the screw at the bottom first- to snug, the rubber piece should be slightly compressed, then tighten the top one a bit, this should make it bite in.
