Moving Anemone

How long does an anemone take to get into its permanent place? Or does it just keep moving around?

It moves until it finds a happy spot. It depends on things like flow and maturity of tank. In a 3 month old 3 gallon nano tank, it will likely never find a happy place.

Pretty much they are like any other stubborn animal.......THEY DO WHAT THEY WANT. When they locate a suitable location they will stop moving. Thats the only downside in my view to anemones. Some move all the time while others find their perfect place almost right away. Best of luck.

Not true. An anemone moving all the time means an unhappy anemone.

But, given that it can find a good spot in your tank at all, it could take quite a bit of moving for it to be happy.
