MP40 for me. Had both Tunze 6105 and MP40 and like the 40. The 6105 is a great pump and CS is excellent but I prefer the look and wider flow from the MP40.

Hmmmm. Seems like a wet side ( which need replacing every few years) cost more than one jebao wp40. Yup they are taking care of you just fine. Or maybe I should say "you are taking care of them just fine".

if you look, I don't own vortech pumps either because of the noise and the replacement parts of the wetside. I own tunze have had pumps running for 8+ years with not a single problem yet.

Had to add my input I suppose. I own an MP40 and a WP40. I like them both. I like the randomness and massive flow. I like the smaller in-tank footprint of the MP40, but not enough to spend an additional $400 on it. I'm ordering 2 more wp40s soon. They have just as much flow, similar wavemaking/randomness, and MUCH better pricing. They're also quieter.

I have a Tunze 6095, some 6045s, and a Jebao. I'm not a cheapskate with equipment, I just bought a 4x54 Sunpower for supplemental lighting because I am convinced it was a good value. If the Jebao dies on me, I'll replace it with a Tunze capable of making a wave, but I have no regrets on spending a hundred bucks on a pump that seems to function well and does exactly what I want.

I wanna see the life span of the wp40 and wp25 giving jebao has a reputation for building crap

Why not. I'm doing my best to stay out of it, or just be fair. I just want to see what kind of support each brand gets. I may add some comments at the end in 10 days.

You do realize that there are 100s if not 1000s of people who own Vortechs and Tunzes and they won't vote in this thread, right?

Tunze for me. Been using their products for 7 years. Love the idea of the MP40 but can't stand the noise. Haven't seen the WP40 here in Canada yet but it does seem to be a game changer.

I hate pumps where the cord is in the tank. So my favorite is the MP40,and the amount of water they move is just incredible..
