Multicolor Carpet anemone

Oh, shut the front door! At the 1.24 mark it appears that we can see the verrucae. The patterning looks a lot like a mertensii.

so...my question is...where was this filmed? an outside saltwater pond? whose saltwater pond? tell me!

+1. Looks like a cool set up. I'd love to see more photos or videos.

The Maui Ocean Center has a really cool outdoor reef. Ever since I saw it, I imagined building one.

*starts planning her trip to Maui*

Thank you guys for your interest.

The anemone is a mertensii and has different colors, but I know in the video under the sun it was difficult to capture.

It is a 800 gallons SPA converted in to Saltwater fish tank. It is right on the bay.

Currently I am working on a Reef just down the SPA in the Bay

Here is a video:

thats quite the abundance of fish right off your dock!

are you hoping to have corals and inverts settle naturally on your cinder blocks, or will you be introducing frags from other bodies of water in your area?

The fish population right off the dock is quite impressive . I got angelfish, tangs, wrasses, damselfish..., and sometimes SHARKS like in this video:

I already have some frags I got from other areas around, but I am planning to have some more from some friends.

The cinder blocks help to keep every thing in position from the waves coming from the boats. They are also a good place for the corals and inverts to settle.
