Multiple Dwarf Angels in 60g?

Right now I've got a beautiful Tahitian flame angel in my 2'x2'x2' 60g cube, with a zebra moray, Springer's damsel, a Talbot's damsel and a few "rescue" stippled clingfish hanging around. Centropyge is one of my very favorite genera in the aquarium world, and there are so many that I've fallen in love with. I particularly love the Potter's, cherub (would love to keep a pair in this tank, but have kept them in the past and don't necessarily feel like dealing with their attitude), lemonpeel, and the *highly* underrated deborae angel. This tank houses primarily leathers, some macro algae, and photosynthetic gorgs, so really "reef safeness" is of little concern. Could I safely add one of the afore mentioned angels with my flame, or is it going to be an all out brawl? Thanks guys :spin1:

There will always have someone say it's fine, and always someone who doesn't want you to have a clown fish in a 60g lol. Good luck

I think you would have better luck with another angel over that zebra moray. I hate to be a Debbie downer but those suckers get 3 feet long. Can't imagine that little fella will have room to grow.

i would say no. if you wanted to attempt this, the two should have been added to the tank at the same time. the flame likely has a territory, and would be aggressive to a conspecific.

also, a zebra moray in a 60g? i hope the skimmer is pulling some nasty out of there!

I'm fully aware, and he's about 30" long now, had him for several years now. He started out in a 4' 120g and utilized about the same amount of space as he does now. That being said, its not ideal, and I'll be upgrading to 6' 125g soon enough.

Oh yeah, I planned ahead of time and am currently running a Super Reef Octopus 2000 internal (rated for a 150g tank).

I would wait until you have that 6 foot tank, then intro the new fish at the same time. IMO current tank way too small for any new angel

I currently have a coral beauty and a flame angel in the same 65 gallon tank ... but I kind of cheated, by bringing the flame out of QT and into the display on the same night that I moved the display across the room. With all rockwork in new positions, it was nobody's territory - and there's been very little aggression.

So far.

Will be moving them both back across the room, into a 220, once I've put all the pieces together.
