Finally have a weekend to whip up a stand... more to come.. Thanks all!

@bif I will take a look at the BRS pukani.. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey there, I love the stand you made for your IM 40. My IM 40 is on it's way and will be here tomorrow, and while I did buy the IM stand, it just looks so chitzy compared to your DIY. Would you be able to tell me the top surface area you allowed for the 24x20 tank? Also, how did you make sure the top surface was 100% level, smooth, and sturdy? Did you use a foam sheet under the tank? Thanks!

Wow I'm loving this thread. I just bought a 40 fusion and I'm excited to set it up. You're stand looks AMAZING!!!! Are you a carpenter by trade?

Have a question which may have been answered on this thread. Will a Tunze 9004 skimmer fit in a IM Nuvo 40 tank? The rear compartments, of course.

Great looking setup! I am new to saltwater and getting ready to start my first tank. Have been looking into these Nuvo 40's and like the look. I would want a similar stand to the one you whipped up, because I don't really like any of the ones they offer. Do you think you could fit a sump or cube sump in that stand? I don't really want to have all of my plumbing and equipment hanging in the back of the tank and would rather drill it to place below.

Thanks!

Would you be able to share the dims of the stand? How it is holding up? And would you change anything about it if building again?

Looking to throw my hat in the ring with a homemade stand.
