Just wanted to say i love this tank, your aquascaping and photography skills are top notch. with so many cube auariums around now, its nice to see there are other options.

Does the coral now have a blue base? Or is that an effect of the actinic lighting?

the greenish/blueish base is the actual color of the coral, the photo was taken with all T5 lights open (6 bulbs) and no LED supplements.

The photo from 2010 was acquire from me by one of the local reefer, the only thing that was left was the a little bit of the growth from the rock after it's been relocated since the photo was taken. What ever was left in the rock work has been dormant for a few years and has only started to grow again in the last 6 to 12 months or so. Personally if the coral looked like this then I would have for sure kept it!

Thanks for the kind words small_polyp!!!!!

I've always been a big fan of cubes and would like to have one, space and time permitting.

Thanks for confirming that. I have the same coral, so I have high hopes for mine now.
