I bought the Hydor Flo...should be coming in this week. I am looking for a pump like the originally stocked pump it came with but with more flow which would be less aggrivation! Otherwise I will just use the Hydor Flo with the stock pump.

Kase Thanks the rock has an amazing amount of life in it

Trip 22 I think that pump will work but you will have to cut the plastic overflow between chamber one and two Good Luck the 606 is working good and here are some additions

Happy New Year

Well I was given another coral yesterday. My wife recently had a heart attack and had not been out of the house except for Dr appt and the hospital. She talked my daughter into taking her out with out me yesterday. they came back with an Anchor coral the LFS they went to said it was a good beginner coral and would do fine in the Bio Cube any one out there with any tip's would be great now I have two that must survive at any cost. Thanks for the help

Wow, it looks like your moving pretty fast ! how long has the tank been set up for! I should be getting my cube tomorrow! How much rock do you have ? looks nice! I have bought 14lbs and I placed it in my 55g tank temporarily! How much sand did you put in the tank?

Yes it is moving much faster than I wanted oh well. I have 20 LBS live rock from Reefer Madness and I think I put in 20 LBS of sand but I might be wrong on that. The system has been setup for about 2 1/2 months

20 lbs of sand?sounds like a "true " deep sand bed.
i was thinking of just using 5 lbs or so! From the date of your post i thought it was just a week or two!
I am using the LR and water from my 55g do you think I need to cycle the tank? Sand will be new .I have crushed coral in my other tank and can't use that! I am anxious to get started. can you tell?

If your live rock is cured in your 55 there should be very little die of I think I would give it a week or so and test your water. Good Luck
