Sorry to hear about your son. Sounds like he is taking it in stride through.

The tank is looking good. Like Rob said that white cloud is bateria. It should clear up in a few days.

On the filter socks. I keep a 5 gallon buck of bleach water and store the dirty socks in it until I have enough of them to justify washing. You just have to occasionally add more bleach to the water, but I like washing a washer full instead of just one sock at a time. But my sump only had one sock.

Yeah the tank has started to clear up overnight, Id say by tommorow or Friday itll be back to normal, Im going to call around to see who has socks in my area and if there either more expensive than John's or they dont have any around here ill be taking a trip out to Oldsmar

mike make sure they have the hanging strap. some of the cheaper copies don't have hangers. I know johns store and finz of tampa have them with hangers.

Hey Denny- Yup finally got her all wet!!!!

Thanks, hes doing ok, hes actually taking it like a champ for a 6 year old!! He surprises us everyday hes going through this, he doesnt ask for much help with things and when we ask him if he wants help he tells us "no thats ok I can do it, It just might take me awhile"!!!! So hes getting there, Monday we have a Doc's appt, where he will get the permanent cast on. right now hes fitted with a temp cast..

Cant wait to ya get these plans together, I wanna see what ya come up with!!!! Should I start cracking the whip on ya!!! Get it going get it going!!!! LOL J/K

The rocks I just placed in there for now, thats not how im aquascaping, Im still searching for a nice way to do that, theres alot of pics on this site and im trying to find something I like, Ive seen some that has pathways in between rock piles and I kinda like that way. But Im still searching for ideas!!

OK, well I just last night went out and bought a 4 month old 150 RR and it came with 200+#'s of live sand, and since added it to my 180. I will be selling the 150 RR dual drilled tank with the newer versions of the AGA overflow kits, if anyone is interested in it, shoot me a PM Im asking $200 for the tank overflow kits and some hoses. If it doesnt sell, im brining it to the parking lot of Fish and other Itchy stuff on July 9th for the reefer garage sale!!

Heres some pics of my 180 with sand after the sand storm has calmed down alittle!! I have to still move the sand around and once I get my live rock I will aquascape it

Im back!!!

Hey bennkrys, Thanks for the compliments!!! The tank is comming along good, Ill get some pics together and post them. Ive got my Euro-Reef skimmer running and have a total of 220lbs of live rock, with lots of Zoes and some Mushrooms and other things. I also added more T-5 I got from FAOIS. Got some good Salifert test kits and a refractometer and some other things. Ive been busy as heck and was gone for alittle so sorry for the delay of progress. Its been a VERY busy 4th of July weekend and vacation!! Been to St Cloud and Ocala and all over the state of FL!!!

I'll snap some shots of the sump for you...... Yes I took out 2 baffles because that sump was origonally designed for much lower flow than what I have now!!
