Great pictures

It's definitely nice living only about a 2 hour drive away from Key Largo, and working with an active university dive program :D

Absolutely beautiful. I've been diving there twice, one of my favorite spots. Next time I go, I plan on putting a GoPro camera on my tank so I can video the whole dive.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. I would not be in this hobby today if it wasn't for an amazing snorkel trip I took while on a family vacation to Hawaii back in 2004. After spending just a few hours on a natural reef, I was hooked

Working with a university dive program sounds like a lot of fun, Bill. Have you been out to the Marquesas Keys and Dry Tortugas? If so, how do they rate compared to the reefs around Key Largo, Marathon and Looe Key. I snorkeled the waters around Fort Jefferson a few years ago, but always wanted to know about the offshore reefs around Garden Key (Dry Tortugas/Fort Jefferson) and Marquesas Keys.

To continue with the Florida Keys theme, here are a few pictures from my 2007 trip to Dry Tortugas.

The stuff I do with dive program is voluntary, because it is lots of fun :D Haven't been out to the Marquesas and Dry Tortugas yet. One of our labs is out there now. I've heard the reefs and sea grass beds out there are in great shape compared to the rest of the Keys.

Amazing pics! Looks like it was an unbelievable trip. It has been 12 yrs since I was on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, and your pics brought me right back there instantly. It was there that I became truely addicted to the ocean. Thanks again for bringing the memories back.

glad to see there's nice diving close to florida.

the wildlife looks great. i have a job offer im negotiating in Miami as we speak. I sure am going to miss diving every week out here, but good to see i can slip in the water in a relatively short time IF we move to Miami.

I moved to North Miami a little over a year ago for a job offer at a university marine science program. If you end up coming into town, let me know. Plenty of good diving, and there is a good marine aquarium club with a bunch of divers in it as well ;)
