Thank you for the offer!

I'm going to see if I can download them from the website. It looks like an amazing controller. I'm on the fence between the Aquatronics, which you have, and the ReefKeeper.

The options are just amazing!

I think this controller beats the reef keeper. For 1 you have a a few types of programs for the ph so you can set it up by time, graph where it goes up and down during a set duration, set it up so that it doses at night plus you can hook up a calcium reactor to it.The basic package also has a level sensor for top off and the heat sensor for temp. You can also buy the ORP probe witch the reef keeper doesn't have the option of ozone. Its something to consider if you ever want to use ozone. It is more expensive than the reef keeper. You can also monitor another tank if you want but you have to buy another power bar for that.Let me know if you want that because its cheaper in the States. You can also buy the doser unit from them. You program it to dose in ML so if you don't own a dosing unit its not bad.Its a triple doser so you can dose mag, alk, calcium, or kalk from a container.Let me know if you want that because its cheaper in the US.My cousin lives there so I send it to him.The unit is $699 so its the same price in Canada and the US.The extra stuff you can buy is cheaper in the US if you compare prices.I am going down to pick up my skimmer and lights next week so if you wanted to order anything you can PM me.I would buy the unit from here but if you want any extras compare the price in the US.You can save some money on that.I should have bought my dart pumps from the US I could have saved A good $180 plus some other reef stuff I bought.

Thanks for the tip.

You make a very good point for the Aquatronica. With our dollar being so strong its probably worth it for me to look around now rather then later.

The unit is the same price here and there. My cousin lives in New Jersey (or the border of it)If I remember correctly when I order online I think I paid no tax or a lower tax.For the warranty maybe buy it here.I know that dam GST is a pain but the extras are cheaper so thats something I would buy from the US.

The customer service from Neptune cannot be beat. Curt will talk you through anything and help you with code, install, etc. He was extremely helpful to me and I see him posting solutions every day in his forum. With a controller, service and continued development are key, so make sure when you are considering one, you take those two intangibles into account. :)

I am happy with mine it was between this and the ACIII PRO.I don't know witch one is better.I am happy with mine. Here are some pics of some new fish. the lemon peel

Thanks so far so good my lemon peel was nipping on the tang but then the tang nipped back. Its all good today they seem to leave each other alone.I have set my PH at 8.1. I wanted to set it higher but to much kalk water is needed to keep it a bit higher.I see the unit has to go on more often and I can't evaporate fast enough.I think once I start to drip my alk I will be able to get a higher ph level without having to add to much kalk water.I also bought dehumidifier for the basement and set the level at 45% humidity.

what is FTS?I looked in my marine fish atlas but I don't see it in there anywhere I guess I will have to look into a web site on tangs.I bought 4 turbo snails but I am waiting to order from www.reeftopia.com. Michika thats another site that has very cheap cleanup crew and some fish that you can bring across the border.

Thanks for the link, and how convienent too! I am about to switch my tank over in the next few weeks for an upgrade.

Hop beat me to it but yes FTS = full tank shot.

The only thing is they don't deliver to Canada you have to ship in the US.They ship to a fedx office and you go there to pick it up.I have the stuff shipped to the fedx across the border but when you drive back you have to have all the legal (scientific) names for customs .I would call the Canada customs first before ordering and get someones name at customs who is in charge or responsible for this type of stuff. My friend did this before we ordered it makes it more simple because most of these guys have no clue.If you mention a name of someone in charge of this that you spoke with it will help speed the process at customs.
