These are the 1" bulkheads.Again the one on the left came with the tank but I won't be using it.It has female threads inside and you can't glue a pipe inside it.I did read that the bulkheads must be hand tightened so no tools needed.

They gave me this for the overflow but its a 1 " bulkhead so I can't use it.I don't know why they gave me this kit unless I wanted to make more holes in my overflow box(witch I can't)

I have my live rock in this bin.I will replace this bin with a sump. Its right in back of my basement wall.I will cut a hole in the cement wall.I will either use a small jack hammer or I will use a grinder(witch will make to much dust)

Thanks eric I saw your thread looking good.I got off work early so I had some time.My buddy came over and helped me flip the tank and then he left because he was busy.I took my time to see where I wanted the cl holes.I am off today and my plumbing supplies are in so I will go get them.My supplier doesn't have spa flex so I will go to a pool store.

Same pics different angle.I also picked up hard pipe for the job.I think I need to buy some more 1" 90 degree elbows for the return flow.I was going to use 40 but it doesn't look like I can go straight with that.I may get some 60 degree also.

Now my supplier didn't have 1" spa flex and the pool store didn't have any either.I called the place where I bought my dart and om 8 way and the owner will order me some.I am buying 50 feet of pipe witch should be enough. He has to get it then ship it to me.We are splitting a 100 ft roll.He is giving it to me at his cost.So far the plumbing parts have cost me $360 plus another $70 for the spa flex(and shipping) I got a good price on the plumbing parts from my supplier. pvc isn't cheap those dam ball valve cost a fortune.
