i can see you Steve, wow the OM has some serious ball valves. very nicely done. on your CL returns, will you be using any loc line or will it be just pvc?

Looks good Steve! Your moving at a nice pace! You should have rock water and fish in it before my tank gets here:lol:

The lock line is only for the return from the sump. The cl will be 1" fittings.Do you think I should go with 3/4" lock line for the cl.I didn't want to restrict the flow.I was planning to go with tee's in the back side of the tank along with 45 degree elbows.I will use 90 in the front. This way I get the full flow but wider and more gentle.I got the fittings I have to glue them and place them where I want.I had no time yesterday.I am off today so I can work on the tank but I have to do a few things before I can start. My wife is also renovating my in laws place so they are gutting out some rooms.Once they are done I have to do the plumbing for the bathroom and kitchen(should be done in a few days so I will have to work this weekend. Thanks for all the kind words.Do they have 1" lock line and what will it cost.PVC isn't that cheap mind you. When all is done the cl will cost a good $1300 with the plumbing, dart pump and the om 8 way.I am wondering why did I want such a big tank.

I took some picks of where I have to drill threw the concrete.I pre drilled a hole and then made a square. The concrete is 9 1/2" thick. This is going to be a pain.I tried to cut away with my small grinder(what a joke) I need to go rent a large one.I want to make a box vs drilling holes. This way I can pass wires and stuff with ease.My wife won't be to thrilled.

This is my bin witch will be replaced by a sump. The bottom of my hole is 17" to the floor.I hope that the drains will end up being around 22" above the ground,if not more. This way I can get a larger sump.I may have to get one made I will have to see when everything is done
