Nice setup! I gotta get my butt to a MARS meeting so I can link up with local reefers like yourself. I could use some expert advice as I'm just getting back into the hobby after a loooong break.

Always a plus to have the Wife support your hobby!

Thanks man. I got almost all my stuff from local reefers and people here in the forum have always help me. The only brand new equiptment i got is my Dart reeflo, Pipings, ATO, Bulbs and The Aquac ontroller JR which is still on its way.

Wow nice set up love that all the noisy equipment is in the garage! Also that tang is super sexy. As for the whole wife in the tank thing im hella envyous! You can bet im showing that picture to my wife. When I did my tank change over she left! haha You know with all these EG reefers around we should have some reef geek get togethers. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing your set up looks sweet.

Sounds Like a plan! I would love to pic you guys brains! I showed my wife the pic and she told me not to even think about it. LOL! Coudn't fit anyway. LOL

Shout out to JASON over at Paradise Aquarium...hooked me up at his last Bag Sale!

Thanks guys..maybe a good massage to your wives might work..hahaha

Nah that never works ive tried that. LOL Its been made quite clear this is "my" hobby. lol

I like to see people taking their time, you don't see many taking the time to get "into" their work......it looks like your doing that.

I didn't see in the other pictures, but did you remove or replace that receptacle with a GFCI? given water likes to travel down hill and it looks like that pipe you ran through the wall is pretty close. Hopefully its in another stud bay, but a larger enough leak could find its way into the wall and short it out within......worse case scenario being a wall fire that runs up to the roof.

Looks good, I like to see a Pheonix rise.

Oh yeah, what is your temperature running at? I bet with the sump being on the concrete directly like that, it is sucking the heat right out of the system. Actually not a bad idea for these parts and will help even in the summer months......just cover it to lessen contamination.

And just one more, then I will shut up.....your ATO resivior? How many gallons? Calculate the salinity shift if the valve stuck open and was dumped into the system. If too much, you may need to go to a smaller vessel.

Just want to help keep it up, since it took a lot to get here......HIH
