In August 2011 I lost all,,,, I made a mistake, I had an infection in my tank ..

What type of mistake have you done? It was the cause of infection?

I beginner, have 3 year hobbyst, ......

In one night I put a new bag shark, without washing, I opened the package and installed it.

I go to sleep ......... my mistake, I was not looking at the aquarium....... and the next morning ....... all corals were white, drooling, all dead.

Probably some of the chemical manufacturing process attacked the coral, because I did not lose my fish, I believe some heavy metal, copper or something ....

I have ORP monitor, Apex, and the graphics show a fall of 395 to 10 pm, and 30 min, dropped to 80 ...!! immediately after put a new bag shark, confirms my mistake .......

Friend, don't worry for your english, mine is like your... i understand the problem and i think is a very strange that this type of filter (we call overflow sock in italy) isn't accurately pre washed from the manufacturer...
however, now you have a very beautiful tank, you are going very good, for me missing only sand but i understand your shock in this past months...
Go ahead in this way, very nice for me.

Very nice Tank! What type of glass did you used for your DT? How thick is the glass? What silicone did you used?

Could you show us a better picture of your euro braced? Also why did you go from T5 to led? What type of led fixture you using?

Thank you.

- My glass is 15mm crystal clear, very transparent, white, not green, and was glued with black silicone Dow Corning 732.

- Lighting is 12 AI Sol Blue, and in the middle, 4 T5 54w, 2 X 2 with bulbs Gueisemann, 2 Purple and 2 Blue ( don't remember name ).

I missed the SPS to color in red and pink, so it was more complete.

- Some photos of the assembly with my euro braced, if you need more details I can make new photos.
