My 540G Inwall Display Build Thread

Got all the rock and sand in that I wanted. I ended up with a ton left over. We used nylon rod, putty, and pond foam to hold everything together. Pics for all the junkies.

And a few from the bedroom side with the sand added. Sorry for the poor pictures, the glare is really bad. I will try to find the right time of day to take some pictures or if I get really board I will put some old lights on the tank and take pictures at night. I really want the drywall completed soon and for that to be done I need the solar tubes in so they are next.

The pictures just don't capture the rocks. I bet it looks awesome with the sand in it!
I can't wait to see it with some color! *cracks whip* :D

The neighbor has decided it would be best to leave me alone, at least for the time being. Hopefully we can live next to each other with mutual respect for each other. Only time will tell.

good luck with that one. Usually once a problem neighbor always a problem neighbor. He may just lay dormant for a while. I hope there is no more issues for your sake. Love the build and keep it coming.

Here you can see the pipes run under the air handler area, and my first fish.

This one looks a little bleached. You better acclimate slowly or you run the risk of burning it.

I signed up for 4 14" solar tubes today. They will be installed in 2 weeks and should run me right around $2500. After a bit of looking around I decided to go with the Solartube brand tubes.
