My 57 gallons - Closed loop system

Thanks for replying. Thats a nifty contraption. Is it diy? How does it all work? I think I see some mesh there in the top.

Yes, it's diy. The water which falls from the tank passes through this filter, which has internally a polyester fiber, which in Brazil call Perlon,
is only one fiber to retain larger dirt and not dirty the sump. At the end of this filter has a pipe directed to the entry weir, this greatly aids in efficiency.

Again, sorry my english.

Thanks

Your corals are beautiful. May I ask what additives and foods you are giving for them and how often?

Currently I am adding 2 drops of iodine twice a week and
20ngotas amino acid every 2 days.

Food my corals twice a week with, zooplankton, phytoplankton and cyclop eeze.

Thank you!

Some corals.

I guess everybody understood the idea of that clever closed loop system, but here's a cross section of it I've drawn some time ago for my friend Basso to display in his topic:

Basso is a creative guy who never ceases to develop very clever (and cheap) solutions for DIYers.

Hello,

Ok, this i understand.

But, how you make the return from sump to aquarium, the photos only show the grey hose to the sump.

Thanks

This tank is ingenious! I really appreciate you sharing your concepts of this unique build. Thank you

The aquarium has 4 openings in the corners, where 3 carry the water to the sump, and 1 brings water from the sump to the tank. See the detail of these openings below:

Thanks Walmyr! its design helped a lot to understand the closed-loop smart, developed by our friend Basso.
