i have a tunze 6080 stream in my 125 have had it for about 6-8 months and it just stopped working it is just making a buzzing noise now the fan or whatever isn''t spinning anymore what could be wrong or is it done for some reason

Unplug it immediately. Calcium has seized the rotor or the rotor is cracked or damaged in some way. Try to dissassemble it and clean it. If it is cemented in by lime it will need to be sent in for repair.

Follow the dissassembly instructions in the manual. You need to remove the magnetic drive unit and clean it with vinegar and water and then inspect it for cracks. Let me know after you do that what you find and we will take it from there.

well unfortunatly i don't have the manual no more but what i did find is that the propellar piece that attachs to the rotor?? maybe a little plastic piece is broken off of it is there anywhere i can just buy a new propeller that is all it is

Yes, it is part 6080.60 and anyone of our dealers would have that. If you could give me a little info though or better yet a photo describing it I could probably get it covered as warranty. It is not running on a wavemaker is it?

i will try to see if i can get you a picture of it and it's not running on a wavemaker i bought the wrong one or didn't read into it enought when i bought this one and found out when i got it that i couldn't use a wavemaker
