MY 75 Gallon RR project and soon to be "former setup" DIAL UP BEWARE!

Actually, I was gonna surprise-bump the thread on Wednesday since that's when the new tank is supposed to be coming in!

But, since you got to it first Keith, things are doing okeee so far.....
I still got you in mind if you still want the setup... are you interested in the ice cap 250w ballasts, cuz if not, I'll transfer them over to the new tank.

I still have to cut the fan holes in the new hood and get my rock back from my friend's garage which is still curing.... I'll be cutting them tomorrow... I'll post pics then!

Nah, it feels like summer right now at the condo.

i was thinking 175 watters with the new Iwasaki 10K's..... Sanjay highly recommended them since the tank is only 20 inches high, no center brace, and I have the lumenarc minis in the hood. Maybe I can even get away with no VHO's since the saki's are a slight hint of blue with the white.

(maybe save some electricity and heat in the process)

otherwise, I'm sticking to the 250 watters

That is a good idea to go with the iwasaki 15K 175W bulbs but then you don't know what the 250W iwasaki 15K will do, when they come out with them.

Oh man I can't wait for this thing to get setup already!!!!!!!!!

Rich- I like! I guess I gotta start looking for a Keg of Yueng-Ling

Hello, do you have some live rock for sale? If so where are you located, and what would your price be for about 40+gallons?
thanks

No live rock, sorry. Frags and colonies- yes, but not until the week before I transfer everything over.

Oh yeah!!!! *drool drool*

That is one scary pic though, hopefully my sump would never be that full once installed and running :)

Well, at least I know it won't BUST open!

I got them from modular hose dot com. I learned my lesson after my current 75's build up. I must've spent almost double and a half what I spent at another online pet supply place. $100 gets you all that you saw in the previous pics, and then some. I also got the expedited shipping (almost $23, I don't know why?!?!? The tank's not even up yet)

You don't want to flame polish water tight joints. You weaken the bond when you do that. Bubbles the solvent right out.
