Oh duh! Sorry a mag 5. The little corner overflow had a hard tome keeping up with the mag 9.5, now it runs great.

That is a low flow sump. Are you still planning on a chiller?

After talking to some people I guess there is no point to having a return pump faster than your your skimmer pump. a lot of people reccomend 3-5X tank volume turnover through the sump. I have roughly 4X going through. I'm still planning on a chiller (very soon) thinking a tradewinds 1/5 HP. How do you like yours so far?

I love my trade winds. I have that ball valve on my return so I can vary my flow.

So does everyone else who has one that I've talked to. Brandon was saying today how much he liked the one he was playing with. I think the megaflow can handle more flow too. You also T off your return right? Did you end up pluming your chiller in-line?

I run my chiller off a mag 7, for now. It then T's into my mag 9.5 and then returns through my sea swirl. I have thought about re-plumbing it just with the 9.5. I did not want to return cold water of my acros. I am happy with it, for now.

Here's an update for you guys. I added a few of my SPS and emptied my 10G. Most things are browned out from the dip but should color back up soon. I also added a cleaner shrimp and some snails and crabs.

Isn't the depth going from a 55-90g sweet!!! You have a little more options for aquascaping now.

Wanna try building an aquascape that defies gravity using acrylic rod? I have a little in my tank and a pleased with the result....easy and cheap too.

Mark and I wil tank sit for you.......(dibs on the rainbow milli Mark, don't tell Jodan.....I bet we can hack off some of that bubble for you too, he won't miss it!!)

yes! I really like the aquascape I have now. Its hard to capture the dimention it has. You need to stop by and take a look.

Just added 5 blue/green chromis, 2 nassarius snails, and a green slimer (thanks Xia!). Still trying to get a good, proportional photo of the tank. :rolleye1:

Thanks Max! I'm not running reflectors on the VHOs (the reflectors are built into the bulb). I'm using a PFO ballast on those too. If your looking for a good deal on a VHO retro kit, hellolights.com has a 2 bulb ARO VHO retro for like $50.
