My baby 'blue' haddoni!

I'm pretty sure this is a baby, 3" diameter, blue haddoni.
Its doing well, eating, well attached to the rock, sticky, well inflated, and reactive. The LFS got three of these little gems in along with the super huge carpets pictured as well.
My little blue:

Super huge yellow gigantea. This anemone had just expelled some waste prior to my taking the pic. It is usually very well expanded and looks better. All kidding aside, this carpet is at least 30" across when at its best:

Here's the big 20"+ red haddoni:

Thanks for the nice pics. Your little blue is very nice. Historically they are a little more difficult than the medium sized ones, so keep an eye on it.

From the looks of it that yellow doesn't have many more "bests" left in it. Even when eliminating waste and/or doing a water purge, a healthy S. gigantea won't look like that.

Those are some nice anemones. Your LFS must have some good connections.

Thanks Phil. I'll definately keep my eyes on the little blue. Its become my favorite addition to the tank. Its in a great place, high light, high random flow, and is easy to feed a few mysis shrimp every other day.
I sure hope the big yellow survives. It has been incredibly impressive over the past several days and it did look better this morning (according to the LFS guys) but by the time I took the pic, it had coughed up a huge waste ball and looked like it did in the pic for a few hours.
This particular LFS, called Paradise Aquatics, is a great store. They definately have some connections as they bring in some of the most incredible livestock. They have a 1200 (20'x3'x4'tall), a 450 gallon mature reef of 9 years!, a new 400 gallon reef (where the large carpets are), a 250 gallon shallow tidepool tank, a 500 gallon FOWLR, AND a 800 gallon shark tank!
Great store to spend a couple of hours!
They also know how to take care of what they bring in. Every tank looks prestine and has looked this way for many years! We are lucky to have them in Kansas of all places ;)
They had a 2 foot blue gigantea that they kept alive for 4 years before a power outage did it in.
If anyone can keep these big carpets alive, they can.
Thanks again.
