I recommend that you get a refractometer and adjust your salinity to 35 ppt. That come to about SG of 1.026. I always adjust salinity up by top off with salt water (on the very rare times I need to do it)

yea I have a refractometer I was just in a huge rush to get things fixed so i used the quick way yesterday.but I have been poring salt water in. I dont have enough water so I drained my refugeum and moved all the cheeto and rock to the sump so the salitnity is really close to being back to normal. but I target fed the nem and he ate it and spread out really nice after. but now hes kind of shriveled up again actaually a lot what does that mean when he shrivvels up like that? my hoddani never does this the mouth is still tightly closed no color loss just shrining hes not folding him self in either just the disk is shrinkinig

Could you post a pic of him shrinking? Frequent inflating/reinflating is a sign of a nem trying to adjust, but its also a common precursor to demise. Mine does compact quite a bit when the lights go off, but it still stays very taut.

Mine also go from 14 inches to 10 inches when the light is out but not deflate by any mean.

For quick water mix in emergency, I just use tap water to mix with the salt. Can't use it for 24 hrs or so to let the chlorine evaporated.

well not looking so good no deflation or shrinking but the mouth has been open for a while now =/
