I plan to pull the tile tonight and setup the tank for whatever round this is, not to sure what will happen as the ones that are left are from the double clutch there is not allot of eggs to start with and if i have the normal die-off happen then i should have 5 or so to work with tomorrow, lol

I had thought about going to MAX but i just can't make it down, I plan to see the event through melev's photos.

Heckle melev i did not factor that into my decision making process, if you happen to get the chance buy him a beer for me, although crown would probably work better.

Well last night i pulled the tile and this morning i had just about the outcome i was expecting. Good news bad news as usual; 100% hatch of what was on the tile (good) at first glance to the bottom of the tank at least 80% dead (bad) discouraging for sure so i just left their light on so they can start to hunt & eat, i will check on them at lunch and see if there are any swimmers left.

Well i checked on the little ones at lunch and there is around 50 or so swimmers so i guess they did a little better than the impression i had of this clutch this morning. I added some more rot's & re-tinted the water for them.

Hopefully youll get it figured out with either feeding mom/dad something diff or more, and/or moving them to their own tank. Well that would have been nice but this batch has done just like the last couple of ones and the number of survivors drops more & more each day. I think it has to be the parent nutrition at this point because there is not much more i can do, they are in green decent water with rots, as much as i would like to reach in there at times and grab hold of one of them and stuff rot's down his throat, well we all know that won't work, so nevermind, lol.

I still need to decide what route i want to take, i did pick up 2 new 20g (L) tanks they are 20"l x 12"w x 13"h. I was thinking of moving my pair of perc's into one of those tanks but with the ups & downs lately, more downs i am having a hard time finding the motivation to setup something the last thing i want to do is set up a breeding system and not have anything to put into it.

Only neat thing for me to update is i did notice that on my batch of 4 month old's there are a couple in their that have already started their 3rd stripe, i was also at my lfs on Friday and 6 of the 10 were sold.
