Maybe you better sit your momma clown down and explain to her that patients is a virtue. If she could just take one more day off from laying all would be peachy! I'm sure you'll prob have to use smaller words, clowns have a bit of a limited vocab thought  .
Seems like you have an antsy girl there dazed, most people are excited to have their clowns spawn. Yours spawn to frequently! Shucks...

Dazed, are you using Nano from Instant Algea to feed your Rots and fry or are you growing your own phyto? If so how are you growing it? There is a bunch of different recipes on the net.

Dazed- I was wondering why dont you still pull the tile even on double clutches? And just sorta sacrifice the second batch of eggs in order to raise the viable ones?
So I was dealt a bad hand myself yesterday. I moved to my new place and moved the tank. Moved the tank 4 times before with no issues. For some reason this time my entire stock of SPS, all my chalices, and my RBTAs DIED. The SPS rtn'd over night, and the LPS succumbed to brown jelly today. The nems just well i dunno...
Thanks buddy, no actually I did not reuse the SB, although every other time I did(with no issues)! I just made sure to not disturb it any more than whats unavoidable. I would just leave a tiny bit of water covering the sand. I just guess one of them must've started the process of rtn'ing and I didnt notice and placed it in the tank. I have heard that its contagious, so thats my explination because most of the pieces looked pristine.(Marc or anyone, is there any validity to the rtn'ing be contagious?). Params checked out otherwise.Originally posted by dazed
Sorry to hear about the tank crash did you move & reuse the sandbed just curious as you did mention moving the tank many times before without any issues.
Mine seemed to be a harmony of death unfortunetly, and I dont know where the brown jelly infection came from. Im guessing the "death water" set the rbta's and the clam off. Well it'll give me a chance to grow as a MAN(tears lol), a reefer, and a chance to grow some new colonies! LOL. Any ideas for beautiful corals?Originally posted by rkelman
Bummer. When I switched to my current tank I lost all my sps. Water params were normal but they all one by one perished.
