Congrats!!

This past weekend I spent camping (in the rain) with my oldest son who just joined the cub scouts. We are at the beginning of the long journey that your brother has successfully traveled down. I look forward to being a proud father giving a similar speech one day.

Congrats to your Brother!!! I know only 2% of all boy scouts make it to Eagle!!! It is a Hugh accomplishment!My son just earned his Arrow of Light with the Weblos in April and is just starting his Boy scouting adventures. Hopefully he will earn his Eagle as well.

He put in flag poles, ripped out shrubberies (ha), replaced old brick, & put in a heart-shaped garden at our local church, and re-did the church's entrance sign.

The heart-shaped garden is a memorial to honor one of the parishioners there. But it also surrounds the american flag, and the papal flag.
The chain-smoking pastor loved it!

A big congrats from another Eagle Scout! It's nice to hear that young folks are still willing to take the huge amount of time, energy, and dedication to pursue such an endeavor. I've been out of the scouting circle for many years so it's not something i hear much about. No matter where your sons life takes him it will always remain an important part of him. Also cool to see there are other URS eagles.
