My Deal of a Lifetime on a 684G system locally!!!!!!!

NSX22

In Memoriam
Heres what I found and then Ill show you the price afterwords. I just talked to the guy and he lives 15 minutes away from my house. I am looking at it tomorrow and putting some cash down on it.

The system is 684 Gallons total and here are some details of some of the stuff included------

1-Tank 384 Gallon (84”x48”x 22”) acrylic-
2-Stand
3-Sump 300 gallon acrylic-
4-Skimmer 3 pump dont know brand yet
5-5x400watt metal halides-
6-pump not sure what brand
7-powerheads Tunze
8-1000 lbs of liverock-
9- many corals huge ones-
10- huge derasa clam-
11- many fish like 15-
12- heaters dont know details
13- Schuran calcium reactor-
14- 55 gallon brute setup for auto-top-off
15- Huge RO unit
16- PH Controller-
17- PH monitor-
18- 6 timers
19- many other supplies and test kits etc...

all for $2500. I am going to buy this and sell some liverock and corals and pay it off. I have 2 tanks running now and one running empty. I beleive this is the best deal of all time and someone is looking out for me on this one. I plan on moving it to my basement. Taking a week off of work. planning on spending an extra $1,000 just incase of quick needs such as trash cans with powerheads and heaters, truck rental, help, electrical preperation (also looks like another $150 a month bill), and I have no idea on what to do as far as evaporation, but I can deal with that in time.. I will take my camera tomorrow morning and keeping you guys posted on my deal. Id say this guy has $20,000+ invested in this thing and I will make my money back and then some just selling some rock and corals (again to pay off 2500 debt).

Any advice, tips, or comments please

Yea I know I will bring the camera for sure... thanks guys and Ill hope to have you posted by tonight..
P.S. it is not a 3rd party scam for once.. hah

Ok I am starting to pick the tank up asap. I have an electrician coming out tomorrow to do some electrical work and I spent all night cleaning out my rooms. I am having a fish room and on the other side of the wall is the display room. Hah yea only one tunze and a closed loop. The tunze has a controller which I have no clue how it works. The tank has like 15 random normal fish, and a bunch of corals some doing great and montipora which is huge is on the verge of dieing, which is no good but I am happy with what I saw.
The bad- light fixture needs a rehab, one of the three skimmer pumps is out, coraline covering the entire walls of the tank along with hair algae extensive growth, along with some half bad montis that I hope will recover, all 5 MH need new bulbs, and I saw some random aiptasia which didnt exceed a count of 20 so not to bad..

The good, still an awesome deal, a huge acan, all liverock ranges from 30-70 lb pieces, great coraline growth, great flow, tons of high dollar equipment. after TLC and two weeks of stress it should turn out very nice...

here are the pics

Acrylic is not bowing at all either or showing to bad of wear for being 7 years old.. I do plan on changing the light setup to lumenarc reflectors in a square order instead of in a line..

Sorry my pictures are blah.. I used a $75 dollar camera and the stuff needs some TLC like I said. By the way I am diggin' the upside down tin bucket for a reflector on the sump, the skimmer is an ASM G6 with 3 sedra 9000's, and the main pump is a dolphin, 2 PH monitors one for the tank and one for the calc reactor. I am a little worried I may need a chiller next... any suggestions on moving the water----------?

I was thinkin of buying a bunch of those brut barrels with wheels and setting up the sump first at my how with the same water and store the livestock in there until I get the tank cleaned and buffed out, and redoing the light positions...

wow good deal indeed. What happened to this tank, did the person who used to own it just stop taking care of it or was not interested in the hobby anymore? Looking forward to the changes you will make.
