My first anemone - I have no idea what i'm doing. Please help

I changed his location to a medium flow location, added sand and put a rock on the other side to keep him stable. I won't touch him for a couple of days and hope he either digs or finds the spot he's looking for.
I tried to feed him some brine shrimp, it sticks on the tentacles but he doesn't seem interested to eat though. I took some close ups of him, would like to know if he looks fine to all of you.

OK... Does he look sick to you?
I did a full battery of tests yesterday:
Temp: 79 F
Salinity: 1.025
Alk: 10.7
A/Ni: 0
Nitrate: 0.2
Calc 280 ppm
My tank is 6 months old, only 2 fish inside, cuc and the nem (Hence the low nitrate).

Calc is really low, optimal is anything over 380ppm usually between 380-450ppm. Try raising it up, I know he's a softie but even they need proper calcium to grow/thrive.
How are your light levels? Could be causing it distress. Try leaving your lights off for 24-48 hours and see if his condition improves.
At 6 months old your tank should be fine for this nem. Are any other of your creatures/fish showing signs of distress?
*EDIT* From what I've read Doreensis like to be in a nice deep sandbed propped up against some rocks, try building him a small cavern with a small amount of light and very low water flow (they don't seem to like much). Hopefully his foot isn't damaged but if it's injured in the sand it'll heal itself over time. Don't feed huge feedings just give it some VERY small pieces of mysis shrimp with no garlic.

my green LTA i had to leave my powerheads off for 36 hrs for him to finally get to a good spot he liked with minimal flow and enough light. he will move toward the best lighting and deal with to much flow and just not open fully . give him some time to adjust
my calc is low, I started dosing a month ago focusing on alk, my next step is calc, that's why i haven't gotten into corals yet.
He just opened up by the way, still not attached though but hasn't moved from that location either.
My tank is 18 inches deep and the light is about 10 inches above that. It's a radion at 40% intensity.
I'll add even more sand there and practically bury him, he is against 2 rocks but i didn't tighten or wedge him it too much to give him the option to leave if he wants to.
I'll also completely turn off my powerhead for a couple of days then to minimize stress.

Thanks, he's fully open now with what I think is enough sand. My concern is that his mouth is open.

He's not gaping wide open so I'd just give him time. Some are real stubborn.

I haven't touched him since the 27th of March.
He attaches in a spot during the day (buries himself), opens up then closes up at night.
The next morning, he leaves his spot looking for a new one. Buries himself and stays there for the day. He's been doing this daily, I guess he's looking for the perfect spot. So far he's done half of the tank, i'm hoping he finds what he's looking for in the other half.

Thanks, my radion is at 40% intensity. He just dug himself back in to a corner all the way in the back but I don't think hell like it. (I'm hoping he won't like it there cause I'll barely see him)
His previous spots had the option for him to get some shade as he was under a rock that acted as an overhang. I'd see him prop sideways during the day and during the evening he would slowly prop himself straight and close up for the night.
After 4 weeks of him traveling around my tank I had no choice but to return him to my LFS. Some creatures are just not meant for some tanks, he just couldn't get comfortable.
I traded him in for a RBTA, beautiful specimen as well. I didn't even have time to put him in the tank and he attached right away, seems like he fit right in and the ocellaris have become curious already.
