My LTA was almond brown, but today has green tint

i've seen him do this before, and maybe its just when the halides come on and he's adjusting? but he's normally a dark almond brown but at the moment his tips look greenish and so do parts of his tentacles. I've attached a photo, but I don't think it really shows the green like it should.

anyhow, I'm not concerned about him, just curious what's up with the random green tint. its pretty.

water params are perfect btw.

Did you acclimate it to your increased lights?

What exactly is "perfect" for your parameters? If I remember correctly your SG was low.

no acclimation (well, I did double up on the T5s over the LTA to help him acclimate), but that was weeks ago and he's been huge and thriving

Honestly I wouldn't worry about the coloration. Your anemone looks to be in good shape considering it was stark bleached when you first got it. Different kelvin bulbs can make different shades of color to the animal.

Nice transition shots, and this is a spectacular specimen of LTA/doreensis.
Mine also had green tents, but I don't recall seeing one w/ a green disc too other than yours.
Most LTA's I see are mainly beige w/ highlight colors.
I have noticed brighter colors appear after spot feedings, mainly scallops.

Nice coloration of green! Looks like it is as healthy as ever to me.

The fluorescent green color is probably pigmentation to block excess UV. You will only see it under bright lighting. Note that only the surfaces if the anemone that face the light show the green color. If you were to return the anemone to a low light tank, the green would fade and eventually disappear.
