My mantis eats flake food !

I picked up a small, bright green mantis with some aquacultured LR I bought from a LFS about 2 months ago. Only see him once in awhile, but have seen him swim out when I feed the other fish and grab some of whatever I'm offering; flakes, brine shrimp, etc. Never thought he'd eat flake food..............he's about 1.25 inches long. Any ideas what species he might be?

Without a pic, it's hard to say. Does he have club claws, or sharp ones?

My G. Terna loves Formula One flake food. I use it to feed his tank mates but he will often time come out and activily hunt down some.

He's a smasher. Hear him clicking in the tank on a regular basis. He's bright green, with a reddish tint around his "weapons". I'll see if I can get a pic of him.

My mantis is the same kind and eats flake food as well. He's very amusing and comes out whenever we walk by the tank.

looks a lot my ciliata from the pic... does he have a stripe down its' back??? also, is it a spearer?

Not a P. Cilita, I have one also. You can tell by the eyes.
