do start pulling that calupera -- it looks ok at first but it can and will try to take over .... just try not to "pop" nodules in the tank as they spread it.

if so then hand picking will be best.
most of the things that eat this need a larger tank to live and would strip that small amount bone-clean in a few days.
just pretend your a turtle that every so often munches down that spot but leaves some...![]()
