I have decided to post some pics of my aquarium in my own thread, so here they are. My aquarium is a stock 12g Aquapod with the package from TBS.

LFS rock-aptasia!

LFS rock-aptasia!

Take the rock out from the local fish store you have, and scrape that anemone off...it is an aptasia.....will spread like wildfire....bad guy!

I have some Joe's Juice on order, as I have a few critters that have made that rock their home.

The peppermint shrimp may get him...but be on the safe side and remove it!

Finally captured a mantis that was strolling around like he owned the place. I damn it all to hell if there is still some clicking going on. And here I thought I was done hunting.

Na.....

your not done having fun yet! Killing the deer is not as much fun as chasing it.....but think positive....may be a pistol shrimp.....which is a good thing!

I am hoping that is the case. I know I got one pistol on the first shipment, but the clicking seems to be coming from the opposite side of the tank. Maybe he moved.

I'm hearing a clicking noise from my tank, it started yesterday after I put the new rock in. I'm hoping pistol. I can't see anything, but you know how that goes...

As far as I know, I had one mantis with each shipment of rock. The first one I had no idea I had until I turned the lights on one morning and he was swimming around all willy nilly. He was pretty easy to catch. The second I saw and watched for about 2 weeks before he left one rock and was cruising around. The clicking I am still hearing, I have not been able to locate or determine where or what is the culprit.

A couple of pics of my reef 3 months after initial setup! All that has been added is "The Package" from TBS and one tank bred Oci. clown.

Amazing!

Amazing!

Amazing job you did with that nano tank!

Small tanks are tough, but you made it sure look easy, especially with the rock being shipped all the way across the country.

The corals and sponges are really doing excellent, you are a poster child for nano tanks!

That means alot coming from you! Thanks!

do start pulling that calupera -- it looks ok at first but it can and will try to take over .... just try not to "pop" nodules in the tank as they spread it.

other than that - yes it looks very good! :D

Ahhh....almost

remember this is a nano tank...no sump.....everybody needs calupera in their systems to control nitrates...just keep it harvested back, but you need some...what you have right now is perfect!

Would you suggest a fish or invert that would help keep it under control?

this is a 12 gallon nano right?

if so then hand picking will be best.

most of the things that eat this need a larger tank to live and would stip that small amount bone-clean in a few days.

just pretend your a turtle that every so often munches down that spot but leaves some... :D

like a weekly lawn mowing :)

Exactly...like mowing your yard...do it every week, and all is well let it go a month and ya can't push your mower!
