That kind of makes sense. You can't use one of those telescopic scrapers (Kent proscraper II) to reach back there? That said, I have the sneaking suspicion that the pics don't do it justice, because the last one you posted looks good. I think the other thing about the wall that is slightly distracting is that it is too uniform. It lacks some dynamics if you follow me. Maybe if you had some smaller shelf pieces interspersed or broke some of those pieces up it might break up the "checker board" look. Again, trying to be constructive. Please don't take offense![]()
Remember too that it's just a foundation for corals to encrust and grow from. If you look at most successfully tanks, you can barely tell what the original rock work was as the corals have near completely covered it. That's what I'm hoping.
I have one of those telescoping cleaners but I have some doubts if it would allow me to apply the kind of pressure I need to scrape stubborn algae.
One last thing about my pile of rocks. My wife actually approved of it. Can't beat that. I added some rocks I was given tuesday night and she got upset telling me it looked awesome before I "messed it up". Lol.
