I picked up this beautiful gig about 2 weeks ago and it looked great for the first 2 days then on day 3 if was flat and deflated. I started cipro treatment right away as per the instructions on the sticky. Just want to get some opions on how it looks now after 8 days of treatment. I'm posting from my phone so bear with me on the quality of the pics.

is the mouth still open? The gig's tentacles should start getting longer and mouth should become tighter and close, as a good friend puts it, you cannot see the mouth anymore. I would try to blast the nem with current, we have our wavemakers on/off every 2 min intervals to mimick waves in the ocean and it has work wonders in both our tanks. THe mantles of the nems should start getting its folds and the nem has to look strong, not flat.

The mouth was open a little bit earlier today but is now closed. I stopped treatment 5 days after it last deflated, should I have treated it longer? I haven't fed the nem since I got it so I'm not sure how much longer I should wait to feed it.

I think he looks fine. Just hang on and see. If he stop deflates, you can feed him pencil eraser size food and see how he take it.
