All salted up, sand added and mud in the sump. Just need to add the sump light and then start making the sides and front for the stand. Still a little cloudy at the moment though.

Got 20kg's of live rock today so have added that, have another 22-24kg's from my other tank that as i strip down will be adding to the right hand side also.

Not sure i like the aquascaping yet, but it will do for now.

Allow me to be the first to congratulate you :)
The setup looks superb and if your Dad has some free time I could use his help in a couple weeks :p

Not sure i like the aquascaping yet, but it will do for now.

I don't know about you but I love the end result, personally. :p
And, after your dad finished helping Greg I can sure use his help as well. :)

personally I love your aquascaping, that is my favorite setup with the two peaks and open between them... that is how I'll set up my 125g (years from now when I get it!) Beautiful job!

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Very clean, nice job! The aquascaping looks good.
Lots of open room compared to the old tank.

Cool your pops came over to help- sounds like he supports your addiction.
Sort-of looks like you built it right where it was going to set. :)

Pictures 1 through 13 I'm kind of like... Mehhh. "Another start up thread of tank pictures."

PICTURE 14 is awesome. What a great camera do you have to take a picture like that? I don't think I've ever seen a picture quite like that. How close were you and what type of camera were you using? You can actually see the grain on the starfire glass where the builder cornered it.

And that's awesome your father is helping you out on that. My dad is just amazed that it's possible to actually keep saltwater fish and corals alive for so long. :D He's like "Are jellyfish corals?"
