and with all those tanks, you have no QT?
I do have one, a 55, but this fish is a little too big for that tank. I also on occasions, use the frag tank. That tank maintains the best water quality out of all of my tanks. If it was larger, I would do water changes from that tank...

I see you like blondes Goodwin9.
They are good looking...by the way, this one came from LA and their fish have been in QT for some time. Never gotten a sick mone from them.

very nice. I love the blondes, but alas, that is the only fish I cannot keep alive. Maybe I will try one from LA sometime. They are such good natured fish too.

Quick question on the live cam. I restored my computer recently and haven't been able to see them. I click the bar at the top to download the "ActiveX" controller or whatever it's called exactly and it just sits there and never loads.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong or what to do to fix this??

Do you guys mostly order fish online? Or do you get them from the LFS?
There are quite a few decent fish stores in my area. So I've never ordered a fish online. Also there's only one online store that I know of in Canada that ships fish. Plus I'm never at home to receive them anyway. I kind of enjoy cruising some of the stores looking for odd tangs that arrive by accident. Usually can get them cheap because the stores dont know what they are.

I know firefox sometimes wont let you view some video feeds. I have to view my fish cam on IE. I dont know why though.

Well there's my answer...lights are out! :D
Just for you Jonathan, now tell me when it is OK to turn them back on??

looks like it could be food if he don't move it. lol my clam will pinch my finger if i ever get to close.

looks like your cleaning up everything for when I stop over tonight. jk the new tangs look great. how is the black tang getting along?

Was the Naso the only fish? It looks absolutely beautiful. I tried 2 in my 230g and had no luck with them. I am in awe of your ability to keep Nasos in general.

Cougarman,

I never pick up fish from the LFS anymore, I always order now. I've had some pretty good experiences with a few different LFSs shipping livegoods. Although at the same time I am jealous of your ability to paruse stores.

Where do you order from? I only know of J&L? Can you get shipments from the US?

I have gotten fish, corals, and clams from J&L, Ocean Aquatics, Wickedfrags.com, Fragalot.ca, I also ordered a few times from some places in Calgary (for pick up), Winnipeg, Montreal, and a few (way back when) from T.O..

Send me a PM of what your looking for and I'll do my best to let you know where I've had success.

Goodwin9,

So what size water change is that?

Mainly just looking for a large variety of fish. Lots of places ship corals but few ship fish.
