I had to give another Clown tang a try in the tank. Picked up a nice one and took a couple of pictures.

I have a small one 2 1/2" in my 300.I had a 4" one in my 150.I can tell you these tangs do become very aggressive as they get bigger.More so when feeding. He will swim with that naso and try to dominate him(or her)They are nice fish they never sit still, always on the move.

Looks like the fish are doing good. How about the corals?

Fish are doing pretty good. As for the corals, I hope that Melev will be able to give a good opinion when he is in town this weekend.

Wow Chuck, you have the whole town over! And Marc, that is one wicked beard you are sporting.

Too bad you don't have sound hooked up. I would have loved to hear the discussion. :)

"Chuck, with your RK2, you can totally automate your morning coffee needs. If you follow the instructions on page 11, you can even have it report the proper temperature via quick email updates!"

Chuck's tank is really amazing to see. All those fish look really comfortable ih there, but one is a tad aggressive and keeps biting Chuck's arm. He jumps and all the fish run for cover, except for the PITA tang. I bet it'll be moving out soon if that doesn't stop.

We worked on his closed loop for a bit and resolved a microbubble issue, replumbed his saltwater reservoir plumbing because it has a brass cutoff fitting that didn't belong, and fed all his babies.

Oh, and I had to buff out a few scratches I put in his tank with the wrong cleaning magnet! :eek2:

Oy! Looked like a packed house today...too bad he doesn't have sound...I would have loved to listen in on the discussion. Strange that a tang would be biting him though.

next time I will have you stick your finger in with the puffer to try and get it to spit

glad you got the CL figured out. I would have liked to stayed and help out but the wife wasn't feeling good.

and I will put money on the brass valve was where his copper was comming from. that should really help out alot.

heck who says chuck is gonna let you leave now after all the cleaning you were doing to his tanks he may keep you around as his tank maintnance man

also did you pick up one of those plastice coraline scrappers to take back with you? they work kinda good IMO

Good thing you pointed that out to me, he agreed and we got it replaced with plastic. I never would have thought of that as being a source of concern had you not mention it.

well i'm glad it got replaced that is one less headache to worry about now.

were you planning on running any polyfilter on the tanks to help remove the copper that is in them?
