The new Anthias went into the 470 since that tank only had three Bartletts. The went straight for the rocks so no telling when I will be able to get some photos of them. Seems it takes a day or two before Anthias start swimming around the tank

Very nice fish goodwin!!!

The Black Tang is very nice....

But the Achilles is by far the most beautiful of all the Tangs IMO. Yours is no exception!!! Truely a stunning fish.

Good luck!

Cheers,

Jim
After the Dussimieri's they are near the top on my list too. I have one in another tank that is proably a 1/3 the size of this one and I am glad to see that their coloration doesn't change that much as they get bigger. I see the new one is back in the corner with one of the cleaner wrasses giving it the once over. The Black tang is out front and seems to be left alone. (Thank goodness!)

yeah, I like the Dussumiers as well :)

I have a juvi Aussie Dussumier in my display along with a maculiceps :)

I really want and achilles though!

I was getting ready to clean the tank when I noticed hundreds of these spots on one side of the tank. Does anyone have any idea of what they might be. At first, I thought that they were snails, but I'm not so sure???

I don't recogize that particular egg sack, but it does seem like you're about to get some free clean up crew if your fish don't eat them.

That Achilles is HUGE! I doubt if it will take much grief from the PBT before it puts the PBT in it's place. I don't notice much agression from the achilles I have but it certainly doesn't take any crap from anyone either.

You have a beautiful Achilles though, really nice colors. Congrats!

How is your black and sailfin getting along?

While I was ordering, I had to try some Lettuce Nudibranchs. Got 12 of them to see what effect that they will have on my hair algae farm tank........

Jonathan, Marc, or Matias, can you tell me how long before they hatch? and start moving around in the tank. I hate to let that corner go too long before I clean it..........

Nice additions. Tough fish to keep. Have you got them eating yet?
I didn't see either eating last night. Is a Black tang any tougher to keep than a yellow?

I just had a disaster with a black tang. I couldnt get him to eat. He didnt make it. Very dissapointed. I hope you have more success. Yours looks like he has a little lateral line disease. I just got a Fowlers tang though, eating like a pig. He's my new favourite. Can I post a pic of him Goodwin9
