How much flow is planned total through the manifold?
The Blueline 70 pump is rated at 1750 GPH.

Nick & Eric (UrbanSage & Lunchbucket), stopped by to check out the new mushrooms and each left with a small bag. I think that they both took time out to look at the big tank and will post their impressions of what they saw.

Chuck thanks for the opportunity to view you tank again! Man those fish are crazy how all of them just swim so calmly. There is always something going on. I have to say you have the biggers achilies tang I have ever seen. I like the dusimer (sp?) also and the clown tang was my fav!

Glad I could buy a couple rics off of you...great timing to be in town. I'm acclimating them as I type (got home late). I'll get pics later but you got some NICE rics for a great price.

Now you need to update that H&S skimmer on the big tank for a Deltec, Bubble King, or a Volcano so that you don't have any troubles w/ the impellers

Nick checked out the big tank while holding his small bag of goodies. Let's hope he post some pictures after they get settled into his new tank! (Eric was still counting mouths....) :D

Chuck,

Thank you again for letting me benefit from the great deal you got on those Ric's. I can't wait to get home from work and see them under the lights today.

And I know I have promised a couple of times to post in your thread about your big tank. So here goes ;)

I have seen your tank a number of times now over the last year or more? I can't say I would have done everything exactly the same but over all I think you have a technically robust setup.
If anything, I would have increased the size of the refugium.

The display itself...... well, the fish are amazing and I have to say the clown tang is my favorite. But it doesn't matter where you look in the tank and there is something going on to catch your interest.

The best thing I must say is seeing how the tank has gone from a tank that didn't seem too healthy to a tank that now seems to have stabilized. The corals I see in there now are the ones I always see and nothing is dying anymore. One of the sps that has been brown for a year is now turning a nice shade of green and is looking like it is doing great. Your fish look happy and fat, it is not the same stressed tank it was.

If I were you I would take another stab at adding some coral. Maybe not 100-200 at a time, but five to ten nice corals that can be a test group.

Eric, post the pictures of the recordeas you picked up here if you want....:)

what size is that cubed tank? that would be a sweet looking tank for that. 1 island in the middle and rics all over the place. very colorful.
