My new 600 gallon reef

I have decided to donate the tank, equipment & livestock to the local Sertoma Club which operates a Butterfly House facility here in town. They have agreed to build a permanent exhibit to house this tank and a couple of my others for the public to be able to view and enjoy. I think that the tanks will make a great addition to the brilliant colors of the rainforest's butterflies.

What an inspiring thing to do, Chuck. Makes me feel like a heel for selling my old tank when we upgraded... :thumbsup: Your setup was inspiring before and now will be even more so!

Construction has started in the new exhibit area. Here are a couple of photos taken of the aquarium back room area. The floor needs to be sand blasted before they can put the epoxy floor sealer down and the ceiling grid still needs to be taken down.

The support area is L shaped, the storage and concession area shown in this plan. The gift shop will now be the aquarium display area. Hope that makes sense.
