My new A.G.E. SPS dominated reef

Its not a nano, and not a large reef tank, so I figured I'd post my tank here. Its 40'x28"x22", 3 sided starphire, with a PVC bottom and 18"x4"x12" Acrylic external overflow box.
The overflow has a sliding sheet of acrylic, that uses thumb screws to lock in, its for raising the waterline height.

Tank set up, and leveled out, love the way the level looks like its floating

I had the stand made by a lfs, that specializes in custom builds. It's a euro style, made of maple, with a espresso stain.

look at this photo of the seam...glass is polished and beveled

I chose this location, because of the early morning natural sunlight. It's awsome to see the shimmer the sun give the tank.

Most of the livestock moved over. I was careful to only use the **** that wasn't buried in the sand. I also had 100 lbs of rock to chose from that i had cooked since i placed my order with AGE.

Beautiful tank. So clean.

Are you dosing anything?

cheers

Aaron

Thanks for the great responses everyone! To answer your question, what I did was dosed two vials of BioDigest when i first set it up, and started a light dosing schedule of Vodka, around 1.0ml a day. I did that because I brought over some rock from my old set up and noticed the GHA was just about ready to die off. so i figured i would take care of it.

I plan on dosing one vial of Bio digest every two weeks.

I feel lucky to have everything transferred over the last week without losing anything except for partial die off on one monti, and that was because I let a rose Mille lean up against it for too long...

All rock from my old set up, was rock that sat above the sandbed, and they all got a good dunking in multiple buckets of fresh saltwater before placing in the new set up.
