My new A.G.E. SPS dominated reef

Those morning natural sunlight shots look great. If I lend you my PAR meter can you test the PM PAR and Natural sunlight PAR? I am interested to see how much you are confusing your coral. :)

a very nice build

while i dont see any in the pictures, have you noticed any algae growth on the sides that get the most sunlight? i have noticed some in my own tank where it gets light in the mornings. i have no way yet to test for po4 so im not sure if that is the culprit

If you have algae you have PO4.

Thanks, I dont have the algae growth on the sides of the tank from the Natural sunlight. The NSL has only helped my tank and corals the RBTA definitely enjoys his morning rays.

How do you get a quote on a A.G.E. tank?

Need to get it through an LFS

I see some scoly's on the sandbed that have been cut in half, did you do that? was there shipping damage or were these fragged? I'd love to cut one in half but I always assumed they would die.....

very nice tank! how do you keep those Fairy wrasses without a top! makes me nervous just looking at the picture.

Those were cut with a bandsaw, healed up quickly too, but slow to grow back to a donut shape. If your LFS gets Reef Hobbiest Magazine, there will be an article about fragging scolys, those were the corals in the article. Will be in the next issue.

Thanks everyone, yeah the tank does have a screened top to keep the wrasses from jumping, I remove it for pictures as well as when I have people over to check the tank out. Speaking of wrasses, I added this Flame the other day.

You should post more of Fred's pictures Craig. Yours don't do the colors of your corals any justice LOL.
