So I got a new Anemone yesterday. I know its a Bubble tip. Anyone know a more specific name for it? Or its scientific name?
It attached to the rock in about 20 minutes and after about an hour it moved about 6 inches to a spot it liked. Today it was fine until about an hour ago it fully deflated.
Then about 20 minutes ago it started inflating again and is almost back to normal..
I did a water test as soon as I seen it deflate.
PH 8.1
Nitrate 10
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Phosphate ~0.125
Calcium ~600
Temp 78*f
SG 1.024
My Nitrate and Phosphates are ALWAYS 0. I had some Cyano in the tank that I removed yesterday I think it may have caused the spike. But I added a handful of algea to the refugium. (Never had any in there before. Bought at same time as Anemone)
Anyways
Is this normal for an Anemone to do? Or?
He is still very firmly attached to his rock even when he deflated.
