My new build 270. Just the beginning !!!

Great looking build. Look forward to the progress and love the design of the room and all the viewable sides! Are you going to fit the skimmer and two pumps into that sump? From the looks of it the footprint is larger than it can handle:(

I will start with 1 and add the 2nd as bioload increase. they both fit in . Ill take pics.

Hi Dr.... how many gallons do you have??? i thought build a closed loop with my hammer head (return pump) but is not a good idea.... the main problem is the maintenance to the check lock (el cheque le decimos en colombia) if failure the tank emptied..... to use the ocean motion the best is use a refloo drack... and about que sea swirl, is amazing!! i have 4 to 1" with a hammer head... i feed my skimmer and the reactors with the hammer head and surplus water to moves the sea swirl...

i tought about closed loops but after some research and few recommendations from experienced reefers decides to Dont want to be worried about accidents,leas, failures of bulkheads. I want to keep my tank as clean as posible therefore I will be using Vortechs (2 MP40s and 1 MP60). sea swirls were also changed in my desing and will be using a Mocean in the center of the aquarium ,in the eurobrace. I like the 360 and possibility of adjustment in speed. That will be the water return.

Nice looking piece of art. Much better looking than sticking a tank on a stand, or placing a tank behind a hole in the wall. Definitely gives me ideas for my future large reef tank.
