My new Magnifica Video. And picture.

Well after a couple failed attempts at getting a Mag to ship well I finally just picked up one that has been in a tank for the last 4 years. And it looks amazing.

It's been 3 days.

Here is a new picture, sorry the picture isn't as high quality, turned my lights up a bit more and now my phone is having issues taking pictures of it.

Looks like the tenticles are longer now?

And full tank shot, it's larger now than when I first took the pictures.

Holy crap! That's a lot of money for a nem!

Not easy to get in Canada like in the states.
The LFS brings then in from wild for 150 bucks, and they are at best 6". They ship terrible too. Of the ~8 I have ordered in only 3 weren't soup in the bag on arrival. And of those 3 I medicated them, and only had one that might have made it, although my clowns were loving it to death, my attentive wife took it from the display and into the other tank, but basically on top of the powerhead....

Having a healthy tank acclimated nem is worth it.

How long should I wait before feeding it? And is feeding it muscles ok? or should I stick to krill? Or?
It got a little snack of a lemon damsel this morning.

Looks great. You can feed it now. Fresh samon or trout from seafood dept of grocery store is a good treat to give one that hasn't had any food in a while. Likewise, fresh shrimp from the seafood dept is also likely to be eagerly taken. Krill, squid and PE mysis are all also good foods for magnificas. If you want it to grow feed it several small pieces (size of a small peanut or pencil eraser) of food each week, if you want it to stay the size it is, feed it a small piece of food once a week or so.
