My new pink LTA

Well, after getting my picassos, I decided they really needed a nice nem, and I saw this pink LTA and decided this was it.
I've never seen one w/ white striping on disc like this, seemed pretty cool.

These pics are w/ LED fill so a little light/washed, but show nems detail a little better, and sharper of clown.

Thanks troy.
Justin, did you grab a small pink, or purple?
I didn't see any other pinks, and it was a tough choice as to go w/ a purp or pink for me, as I had been searching for a purple LTA until I saw this one there, and it's unusual pattern sold me on it.
I love the LTA's, for me they are beautiful, but equally important they seem easy to place where they will stay.
They seem more sensitive to flow, and light, so basically give them an area like under a ledge where they can pull in/out of light as needed, and where they aren't getting blasted by flow, and they pretty much stay put.
And they prefer sandbed unless lights are just too weak, in most cases anyway.

Beautiful LTA! I have never seen a pink one before. I have a green one that was bleach white when I bought it. You're absolutely right about what they like. A low flow zone with good light and they're happy as can be. Shame they don't split like BTA and others.

My LTA is a purple not pink, but I too was looking for an anemone and was really thinking it over for the past month, trying to find the right LTA for all the same reasons as you mentioned.... I went for teh first time to Aqua SD on Wednesday and saw these guys and knew that was it! Glad you grabbed one, with your track record that is going to be one large anemone! :D

Anyway I cleared out a nice spot under a ledge and in the sand with lower flow then else where in the tank and it seems to be happy!

This image is taken 1 hour after it was acclimated, the photo is a little washed out but the color is very vibrant....

One question: My clowns haven't hosted it yet, any tips on how to get them to swim on over? They have always liked the other side of the tank and seem unaware of it's existence.

I have the small plta anemone at aqua sd on hold right now. However, I am concerned it is not purple enough and the larger one had some deflated tentacles should I wait for a different one? I like the Medusa purple one on there website bit it sold.

I got a maroon clown to host in my LTA by basically using my hand to manuver it over to the anemone. One sight of my ugly mitt, and it sought refuge in the anemone.
